Who is responsible
AKEMO Group AS (org. no. 936 332 803), Oslo, Norway, is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. Contact us through the contact form.
What we collect and why
When you send an inquiry we collect your name, organisation, email address, country, inquiry type, area of interest and message. We use this only to reply and to follow up on the conversation you started. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries, and your consent given in the form (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(a)).
We do not ask for sensitive personal data or confidential financial information through the website. Please do not send it.
Analytics and cookies
This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie is the optional translation preference described below. If we measure visits, we use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics that do not identify individual visitors. Spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile) may process technical data such as your IP address to check that a form submission is genuine.
Automatic translation
You can read this website in other languages using the language button. Nothing is sent to Google until you choose a language. When you do, the page text is sent to Google Translate to be translated in your browser, Google receives technical data such as your IP address, and a cookie (googtrans) remembers your choice so other pages open in the same language. Choosing English again removes it. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.
Who processes the data
The website is hosted by Cloudflare. Inquiries are delivered by email through a transactional email provider (Resend). These providers process data on our behalf under data processing agreements. Some may process data outside the EEA under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as the conversation is active and for up to 24 months afterwards, unless the inquiry leads to a business relationship that requires longer retention by law (for example the Norwegian Bookkeeping Act).
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to its processing, or withdraw your consent at any time. Contact us using the form. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet) at datatilsynet.no.
